Theologian about fewer Catholics, more atheists: A sign of the democratization process

According to the census, a decrease in the number of believers in Croatia has been recorded, with the number of Catholics decreasing by seven percent over ten years, while the number of atheists has increased.

The trend of declining religious affiliation and a slight increase in atheists and non-believers in Croatian society has multiple causes.
